Sharing our stories in front of the class makes us feel good!
We share our writing and get feedback from our writing partners.
Our current unit is titled: Lessons from the Masters. We are learning how to become 'Powerful Writers' by reading excellent mentor texts.
The writing workshop model always begins with a mini-lesson, then the students move to independent writing time, and the workshop ends with an opportunity for the students to share and reflect on their writing.
